Dream Foundation

Aley, 27, was diagnosed with ‪#‎cancer‬ when she was just 17. She continues to have a positive attitude and has long dreamed of taking her honeymoon to Disneyland with her husband and son. The couple enjoyed a beautiful wedding ceremony and left for Anaheim the next morning. They had an incredible time thanks to Ramada Maingate at the Park, McDonald’s, Vitas Hospice ‪#‎family‬ ‪#‎disneydreams‬ ‪#‎20000dreams‬

Diagnosed with cancer, Melody had a dream to visit Disneyland with her case manager Hannah. Dream Foundation—with help from some specialdonors—was able to send them to Anaheim to experience some ‪#‎Disney‬ magic. Melody wrote to us afterward, saying her favorite thing was the Enchanted Tiki Room, and that she almost rode “It’s a Small World” twice! – Thanks to the help of Ramada Maingate at the Park and McDonald’s. (Melody is shown looking at her welcome packet from Ramada Mainagate at the Park.)

Illumination Foundation

This year Ramada Maingate at The Park donated a two night stay in one of the beautiful Three Room Suites to raise funds for local homeless families.

World Vision

Ramada Maingate at The Park currently sponsors ten children across the world through World Vision. It’s our goal to make a positive impact on the lives of others not only in Anaheim but in other places of need. Here are some of the Annual Progress Reports we have received. We love getting mail like this and knowing how our children are doing!

Plan International USA

Ramada Maingate at The Park currently sponsors eleven children across the world through Plan International USA. In addition to our contributions to the lives of these children, we also make quarterly donations. This past quarter Ramada Maingate at The Park donated $2,018 to Plan USA for the Sierra Leone ‘Because I AM A GIRL’ project. Why $2,108? We ask our guests if they would like to make a $1 donation and at the end of the quarter Ramada Maingate at the Park matches the donations collected.

YOU can also make an impact with just $1, when you check in with us! Click the link below to read a blog about a cause that is near and dear to our hearts at Ramada Maingate At The Park! http://www.ramadamaingate.com/ramada-maingate-at-the-park-supports-because-i-am-a-girl-campaign-plan-usa/

Mercy Corps

Ramada Maingate at The Park donates money every year to Mercy Corps. Recently we donated to Nepal’s 7.8 earthquake that occurred on April 25th and also on the most recent 7.3 earthquake that occurred on May 12th.  We hope our donations will relieve some of the pain that the people of Nepal are having to face.

Key Incentive Donation

When guests do not return their key, we charge $1. During the month, employees anonymously nominate someone for outstanding achievement in specific areas. Out of that pool of employees, a name is drawn, and the winner gets to choose a charity or organization that they would like the money to be donated to.

For the month of June one of our wonderful employees, Fernando,  won and decided to donate the money to St. Jude’s Hospital Cancer Research in Fullerton where he personally received treatment for two different cases of cancer.

Thank you Fernando for being a dedicated worker at RMATP. You are a great example of our goal to serve the community. We are proud to support St. Jude’s Hospital in Fullerton and their mission to meet the needs of the community, by offering the highest quality care with compassion and respect.
