Just a short collection of tips for your visit to Disneyland, taken mostly from our Facebook fans…

Planning Your Trip

1/ Stay at Ramada Maingate at the Park. We’re located directly across the street from the main gate of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA and we offer free parking, wifi, and breakfast, making us the best value in town.

2/ Skip the ticket lines and get your tickets at the front desk or at our online store. Some packages include the Magic Mornings early admission, which we’ll discuss soon.

3/ If your child(ren) want to dress up for the occasion, get their costumes online or at the Disney Store before entering the park. This will save you time and money.

4/ Ask the resident experts on our Facebook page. They know everything!

Starting Your Day

1/ Before you walk across the street to Disneyland, save money and take advantage of our free continental breakfast. This will at least hold you over til lunch, but perhaps consider packing some snacks as well.

2/ Get to Disneyland early. This is where the Magic Morning admission comes in handy. Many people have told me you’ll get more done the first two hours you’re there than the rest of the day.

3/ If you have a child or member of your group with a disability,  let Disneyland know. Head to City Hall first thing on your first day and they’ll help make for a great experience.

While at the Park

1/ Take advantage of FastPass!

2/ Free coffee refills at Main Street’s Market House. Hold on to your receipt!

3/ If you have an infant or toddler, take advantage of Baby Center on Main Street USA. It has padded changing tabls, training toilets, a private nursing area, high chairs, and microwaves to warm food/bottles. It’s free and a nice quiet break from the parks. They also sell baby items in case you run out or lose something.

4/ Take a break! If you took my advice and got into the park early, you’ll have plenty of time to take a break and save some energy and stay late. We’re close enough that you can just stroll back and have lunch at Saga Pizza on our property or Tony Roma’s, also on our property. The kids will love the pool!

5/ Remember you are there to make wonderful memories and enjoy your family time.

6/ The left line in Disneyland is always shorter, EXCEPT at Pirates of the Caribbean (Opposite at Disney World)

At Night

1/ Main Street USA closes an hour later than the rides, so if you wanted something from there, plan on doing so at the end of your day.

2/ Fireworks can be viewed at the convenience of your own room if you stay in a Deluxe View!

3/ Conversely, it’s during the fireworks and parades that the lines of other attractions will be shorter.
